For my husband Dave and I, raising our two sons in North Carolina has increased our appreciation for the gift of the natural beauty of our state, especially the Outer Banks. Our family has fallen deeper and deeper in love with the area through the years, and have come to respect the down-to-earth, welcoming people who live and work in the amazing communities that thrive here despite sometimes challenging conditions.

In late 2011 we launched OBX Outfitters, a casual apparel and activewear company sharing the pure joy that is the Outer Banks. This company is a labor of love and a way for us to say thank you to North Carolina and the Outer Banks for giving us so many wonderful memories. We are dedicated to contributing to the economic and environmental strength of the Outer Banks and featuring clothing made right here in the USA.

Although we sell t-shirts, we’re not really a t-shirt company. We help people find their happy place, whether they be visitors remembering family vacations in Corolla or Nags Head or Ocracoke, or Outer Banks residents celebrating their little slice of paradise.

We hope others will find the same joy we have found here and think of our products as a way to jog memories of a truly spectacular place, people and experience.
