OBX Outfitters is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Gold Level sponsorship agreement for the Second Annual Cupcake 5K race in Kill Devil Hills on May 20th benefiting the American Cancer Society. Part of the Relay for Life weekend, the road race begins Sunday morning at 8:30 and snakes through the streets adjacent to the Wright Brothers Memorial in the beautiful Outer Banks. "So many families like ours are impacted by cancer, it's important to raise awareness and funds," Stacy Menzies, OBX Outfitters president, said, adding, "A race celebrating life and hope is a great way to do that." Menzies explained that she and her husband Dave are participating to honor Dave's mother Lorna Menzies, who is currently fighting liver cancer.
